Confession of the Week
17 June 2009 in ConfessionsConcerning Wisdom
The Spirit of Truth abides in me and teaches me all things, and He guides me into all truth. Therefore I confess I have perfect knowledge of every situation and every circumstance that I come up against, for I have the wisdom of God now.
I trust in the Lord with all my heart, and I lean not unto my own understanding. In all my ways, I acknowledge Him and He directs my path.
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.
I let the Word of Christ dwell in me richly in all wisdom.
I do follow the good Shepherd, and I know His voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. Jesus is made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption; therefore I confess I have the wisdom of God, and I am the righteousness of God in the anointed Jesus.
I am filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I’m a new creation in Christ. I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I have the mind of Christ, and the wisdom of God is formed within.
I have put off the old man and have put on the new man, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him that created me. I have received the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of my understanding being enlightened.
I am not conformed to this world, but I’m transformed by the renewing of my mind. My mind is renewed by the Word of God.

“America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture. I have a very simple thing to ask of you. I ask every man and woman in this audience that from this day on they will realize that part of the destiny of America lies in their daily perusal of this great Book (the Bible).”

County official interrogates pastor and his wife
May 28, 2009
Dear Friend,
A San Diego pastor and his wife have been told they cannot have a Bible study in their home. The couple says they were interrogated by a San Diego County official, then threatened with ever increasing fines if they refuse to stop the Bible study. (See news article here)
According to the couple’s attorney, they were questioned about the Bible study. “‘Do you have a regular meeting in your home?” The pastor’s wife replied, “Yes.” “Do you say ‘amen’?” the official asked. “Yes,” she replied. “Do you pray?” Again she said, “Yes.” “Do you say ‘praise the Lord’?” Another “Yes.” The official told the pastor and his wife they were in violation of county rules.
The Bible study usually has an average of about 15 people.
A few days later they got a written warning that listed the home Bible study an “unlawful use of land.” They were notified to “stop religious assembly or apply for a major use permit,” which could cost them thousands of dollars.
Could a small poetry club meet regularly in a home? Apparently, yes. What about a Cub Scout meeting? Evidently, yes. What if they meet regularly to watch Monday Night Football? Obviously, yes.
CONFESSION OF THE WEEK
27 May 2009 in ConfessionsHealing
Thank You, Father, for sending Your Word to deliver me from destruction (Psalm 107:20).
Jesus bore my griefs (pains) and carried my sorrows (sicknesses). He was pierced through for my transgressions and crushed for my iniquities. The punishment for my well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24).
Father, Your words are life to me. They are healing and health to all my flesh (Proverbs 4:22, AMP).
Since the Spirit of Him Who raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me, that same Spirit also gives life to my body (Romans 8:11).
Thank You, Father God, that I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers (3 John 2).
Lord, You restore my health and heal my wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
Thank You, Lord, for forgiving all of my iniquities and healing all of my diseases (Psalm 103:3).
Thank You, Father, that my light breaks forth as the morning and that my health springs forth speedily (Isaiah 58:8).
Confession of the Week
14 May 2009 in Confessions
I give generously, therefore gifts are given unto me in a generous measure. I sow generously, therefore, I will reap a generous harvest. My God is able to make all grace abound toward me, so that I always have all sufficiency in all things and am abounding to every good work. God is giving me an overflowing measure of all good gifts, that all my wants of every kind are supplied at all times, and I may give of my abundance to every good work. I have, under all circumstances and on all occasions, all that I need. God has blessed me with ample means so that I have enough for any emergency, and enough to give to others. My God supplies me with every kind of blessing, so that, with all my needs well supplied at all times, I have something to spare for every work of mercy. Wealth and riches are in my house. We are debt free. We owe no man anything. My God supplies all my needs. My God is making every favor and earthly blessing come to me in abundance. I am always self-sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support. I am furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.
National Week of Prayer (Prayer for our Nation)
7 May 2009 in Patriot AlertFather, in Jesus’ name, we give thanks for the United States and its government. We hold up in prayer before you the men and women who are in positions of authority. We pray and intercede for the president, the representatives, the senators, the judges of our land, the policemen and the policewomen, as well as the governors and mayors, and for all those who are in authority over us in any way. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them.
We believe that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into the heart of our president and knowledge is pleasant to him. Discretion watches over him; understanding keeps him and delivers him from the way of evil and from evil men.
Father; we ask that You compass the president about with men and women who make their hearts and ears attentive to godly counsel and do that which is right in Your sight. We believe You cause them to be men and women of integrity who are obedient concerning us that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. We pray that the upright shall dwell in our government…that men and women blameless and complete in Your sight, Father, shall remain in these positions of authority; but the wicked shall be cut off from our government and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.
Your Word declares that blessed is the nation whos God is the Lord (Ps 33:120. We receive Your blessing. Father, You are our refuge and stronghold in times of trouble (high cost, destitution, and desperation). So we declare with our mouths that Your people dwell safely in this land, and we prosper abundantly. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus!
It is written in Your Word that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, and you turn it whichever way you desire. We believe the heart of our leader is in Your hand and that his decisions are divinely directed of the Lord.
We give thanks unto You that the good news of the Gospel is published in our land. The Word of the Lord prevails and grows mightily in the hearts and lives of the people. We give thanks for this land and the leaders You have given to us, in Jesus’ name.
Jesus is Lord over the United States! Amen
